Ok, I have never been to a dentist before and my first experience was...can I say harrowing in a funny way. I did not go for anything major...just to get my teeth cleaned. I walk into what I call the cleaning room and she makes me lay at a 135 degree angle on this not so comfortable chair and since it is my first time ever she wanted to check the condition of my teeth..so guess what she did..she puts this mini sized hammer and a sharp needle pen into my mouth and pricks my teeth for 5 whole minutes...the funny part is that she told me to tell her if she was hurting me and I am sitting there wondering how I am supposed to do that when I have all this needle and hammer pricking my mouth... well I could always go "Issssss" and what if once I do that she gets startled and pricks harder or something...Anyway is it possible to even make a noise when you have all those things inside your only mouth...hmmmm am not so sure. So we move on to the actually cleaning part and I have my mouth open...suddenly this jet of water hits my teeth and mouth and the doctor starts pricking between my teeth with the same sharp needle..Aaargh what a horrible thing that was... to taste industrial steel on your teeth. I had no idea what was happening inside my mouth and I felt like a housing contractor was going nuts with it. Then the nurse brings this industrial tooth brush or something similar to that and its smells of minty toothpaste...well she basically industrially brushed my teeth for me while I wondered why we had to pay insurance to do that...I could just go and buy one of the SONIC Machine thingys and will avoid the embarrassment of someone staring into my open mouth... After like 10 minutes or so I am very happy about getting out when the doctor says "Lets just get an X-Ray to make sure your wisdom teeth are ok" and I am thinking...GOSH is this never going to end...but I smile and as I am nodding my head to agree to the X-Ray, the nurse comes in with these cards and instructs me to put them in my mouth and bite them... Yuck!!! those tasted rubbery and disgusting and I felt like I was biting into a piece of bicycle tyre... once the X-Ray was done I couldn't wait to get out of the Contractors Oops Sorry my Dentist's Office and write about my experience....:)
